FROM OUR PIT TO YOUR KITCHEN

John Cathey started Smokin' Buttz with a trailer, a Taste of Smyrna booth and one idea: high-quality BBQ that families can actually afford. Ten years, one iconic Buttz Truck and a shelf of awards later, the same pit recipes are in every bottle.

When the pandemic hit, the sauces went from the truck to the farmers' market to your door. In 2024 Pitmaster John went back in the lab and built six new rubs. Buttz Cracks is what came next.
