½ cup brown sugar
4 tbsp butter, melted
⅓ cup Buttz Sauce
1 tsp Smoky Buttz Rub
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup orange juice, apple juice or water

INSTRUCTIONS

1Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2Arrange yams in slightly overlapping layers.
3Mix brown sugar, butter, Buttz Sauce, Smoky Buttz Rub, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, vanilla and juice.
4Pour evenly over the yams and coat the tops.
5Cover tightly with foil and bake 35–40 minutes.
6Remove foil and spoon the sauce from the bottom over the yams.
7Bake uncovered 20–25 minutes, basting once or twice, until syrupy and caramelized.
